In our busy routine, we often are in such a hurry to get to college or office that we gulp down a cup of coffee and rush out the door, skipping the most important meal of the day – breakfast. You might have had many people including your mom or wife caution you that it is essential and that you should not skip it. Have you ever wondered why it is considered to be such an important meal? Here are the reasons why you should not ever miss breakfast:

Yes, you wake up after minimum eight hours of sleep. Children need longer hours of sleep of course. During this period, your body has not had any nutrition. It is a long period to go without any food. Breakfast is what gets you started for the day by providing the energy you need. You may feel a little brisk by having coffee. But it does not give you any energy or nutrients to sustain you through the day.
